Flounderin' Around - Natalie

 

Hello all, It's Natalie here with you today. My card is using Flounderin' around and I LOVE a good pun!

Pencils are not my forte but I am determined to practice and that is always how you improve. If you want to improve I would recommend building your colouring muscles by finding a colourist whose work you love and using their colour combinations  until you have the confidence to experiment on your own and just practice... practice... practice.

The background... I used Distress Oxides Crushed Olive and Tumbled Glass. I just added a wispy line across the panel which measures 7.8cm x 12.2cm or 3 1/16" x 4 3/4" 

Now, please remember I'm an Aussie gal and American peeps' cards are a little bit wider and shorter than others so adjust to your card and your taste.

Hair- Beige 997, Chocolate 1082 and Dark Brown 946

Skin - Dark Umber 947, Beige Sienna 1080, Peach Beige 1085, Eggshell 140 and Cream 914

Lips - Mahogany Red 1029, Rosy Beige 1019 and White 938

Eyes - Periwinkle 1025

Yellow - White 938, Jasmine 1012. Yellow Ochre 942, Golden Rod 1034, Chocolate 1082, Dark Brown 946 and Black 935.

Green - White 938, Canary Yellow 916, Chartreuse 989, Spring Green 913, Apple Green 912 and Chocolate 1082
